The first Virtual Tour - Reliving and Transforming a Traumatic Experience (or Memory)

As you grow up you get exposed to troubling circumstances, which wouldn't be bad if they made sense to you afterwards. Often you remember one clip, one frozen scene that defines your perception. But what if you had a chance to relive those moments and come to a different conclusion? Or at the least if you could create more than one clip of information?

I grew up in Poland and came to America when I was ten years old. I remember being beaten when young. I lived in a culture where it was considered normal for a parent to use physical punishment on their kids if the kid did something wrong (or even if they didn't do something wrong). I already had images of myself when young (see Examples of Using Images). It occurred to me that I could do more than just see one image at a time.

The idea came to me to break the incident into a sequence, and I decided to try this with one memory of when I got a beating from an older family member. I was able to break up this incident into: Before the beating; the moment I realized that something was going to occur; the actual beating; my reaction to the beating; the moment the beating stopped; and last (which I thought was brilliant) to see what good came out of that beating.

I was not trying to justify the beating. But I was willing to ask "What good came out of this beating?" in order to see if maybe some new coping skill came out of that painful experience.

I said, "Show me an image before the beating occurred." I saw an image of myself as a young boy and when I brought that image into my body I felt an innocent contentment.

I then said, "Show me an image of when I had an awareness of a beating coming." The image changed, and I could feel tension being emoted by it. When I brought that image into my body it created an intense sensation of anticipation. I felt like I had electric current running through my body.

Then I said, "Show me an image of when the beating was occurring." This time I did not have to bring the image into my body. As soon as I saw the image, I also felt sensations in my body. I was surprised by what felt like psychic blows that went beyond the physical. I also started seeing myself screaming. I also saw the image of the person who was hitting me. I saw a red fiery energy around and inside their body and it was this energy that was inserted into my physical body with each hit.

When I brought the screaming image into my body, I was surprised again. I realized that the reason I felt myself screaming was because it minimized the physical pain of the beating.

When the beating in the image stopped, the sensations that I felt in my physical body were of radiating relief. It felt like an ember in a fireplace radiating energy outward. The radiation of my body felt like a release of intensity, followed one second later by a moment of calm, followed again by another release of intensity.

At this point I said, "Show me the gift I received from this beating." This was the most amazing part. I saw how each time I was hit, angry energy was inserted into my body. This was pure energy, that lay dormant inside of me for decades. Many years later when I became chi-energy sensitive and aware of my intuitive abilities, this angry energy in my body activated and made me incredibly fast in my ability to do psychic readings. I saw all of this as an integrated insight. Something inside of me pulled all the information together and made sense out of it for me. It was a mini epiphany.

I repeated the whole sequence several times more, each time saying to myself, "OK, I can handle this level of discomfort." When I felt I had mastered the sensations of each part of the incident, no matter how unpleasant, I no longer had to repeat it.

Since that first time I took my own Virtual Tour, my friends and I have worked with this technique and it has become more sophisticated. But it has the same goal — to show you how you can change your perceptions and feelings about your experiences. A Virtual Tour can also show you how to take the ordinary and notice how special it really is.

    —--

Becoming a product of your environment, then become a person of your own choice.

Once when doing psychic readings, I looked at a client who was very happy and easy-going and his face changed. I said to him, "You used to be a different person, very violent and very deadly."

He replied, "That was a long time ago and that person is no longer alive."

I said, "He has to be alive. I just saw him inside of you."

The young man then told me a story about how when he was a teenager, he lived in a dangerous neighborhood and he was beaten often until one day he allowed the beating to come inside of him. He then became more dangerous than the people who picked on him. (Here was an example of how violent behavior gets passed on from victimizer to victim.) But later, he gave up his violent ways and he now is studding to be a healer.

    —--

A Virtual Tour of your apartment.

A Virtual Tour can show you how you can change your perceptions and feelings about your experiences.

I was guiding a woman on a Virtual Tour of her apartment. She told me, "There is nothing that I like about my apartment. And the place I hate the most is my bedroom."

When she did a Virtual Tour of her apartment, the first place I asked her to experience was her bedroom. Her reaction was, "I can't believe how comfortable my bedroom feels. There's such a nurturing and creative energy there."

As soon as this woman described the bedroom I directed her, "Ask this comfortable nurturing feeling to enter your body. Where in your body do you feel it? Ask this feeling to move to another part of your body."

This experience was memorable because it showed how things can look one way to us by using our physical eyes, and how different they can look when we view it as a spirit form. It also showed that what you see in a Virtual Tour can be brought into your body as a sensation.

    —--

A Virtual Tour of your workplace.

We all live in a box of limitations. It's only when we recognize what makes other people special that we are then able to recognize our own unique qualities.

I was working with a man who first went through his apartment holographically to see what he liked about it. Because he once had a very successful career, I asked him to have a holographic memory of that job show up.

In that image, as he walked through his workplace I instructed him to notice good qualities in his co-workers which he normally did not notice while he was employed there. He saw an image of one employee whom he had admired.

I said, "Look at the image and sense where in this man's body is that quality that you admire. Don't guess, don't assume, just look at the image and feel for that special sensation."

"It's in his abdomen."

"Ask for that man's image to enter your body. Do you feel that special feeling in your own body?"

"Yes, yes I do."

The next person he admired was a female co-worker. The energy that made her special was located in her throat. He brought her image into his own body, and began to experience the same throat energy.

After each experience I directed him to say, "OK, I got it, that's how things work on an energy level." The exercises were for a way to allow this man to rebuild himself. Because of personal crises he lost a lot of faith in himself and he felt somehow he was to blame for his past misfortune.

Often the circumstances are, you don't know the strengths you have, you wind up loosing those internal qualities that work for you and then you don't know how to bring them back. It sounds kind of simplistic but it's all about knowing how.

    —--

A Virtual Tour of an impending court case.

A man I was working with had gone to court twice so that the judge could rule on whether he should be tried. Now he was getting ready to go for the third time, sot he judge could make a final ruling. Even if he was found innocent, if the case went to trial, this man's career would be over. He wanted some kind of help.

We decided to use a Virtual Tour to allow him to view all the people involved in the court case so he could develop a way to be aware of them at the next court session.

I said to him, "Say 'Court.' Now take a look at the image of your lawyer. How does your lawyer feel about you? Take a look at the image of the prosecutor. Have the image of the prosecutor look at you like you are a human being and not someone who the prosecutor uses as a case to advance his career. Look at the arresting officer, how does he feel about this case?"

The man replied, "The image of the policeman feels sorry that he arrested me, but he does not know how to stop this case from proceeding."

Then I told him, "Next take a look at the image of the judge. Have the judge see the love your parents feel for you so that the judge can see that you were raised correctly. Next take a look at the image of the court stenographer and make sure they see you as a human being. You don't know who the judge takes his cues from in a tight situation."

I instructed him, "Take a look around and see if you notice anything unusual in this image of the courtroom. When you show up in court make sure you feel the same kind of connection with each person that you experienced in the hologram."

The man phoned me several days later with exciting news: "My court case was dismissed. And you were right about noticing something unusual. In the Virtual Tour the judge showed up in a purple robe and this time in real life the judge came in wearing a purple robe."

    —--

A rape revisited.

One woman who I was doing energy work with kept mentioning the rape she experienced as a child, as if it was frozen in her mind. Even though I felt that a Virtual Tour might give her more clues about what happened to her, she was reluctant to do it. So I old her about my own experience with a Virtual Tour, and then she agreed to try it.

We broke the rape incident into a sequence of events for her to experience. As she went through each situation, she was surprised at how un-traumatic it felt to her. She felt the distancing that the Virtual Tour provides allowing her present adult-self to see from a distance how her child-self at that age was handling each part of the scene.

One thing that she got through the Virtual Tour was insight into her attacker. I said, "Take a look at the image of the man and pick up the vibrations of why he is doing this to you."

The woman became very vocal, saying, "I can't believe it! He's raping her as a way to get nurturing. He should be getting nurturing from his wife, not from a little girl."

During the last part of the Virtual Tour, I said, "Take an image of the little girl, and tune into what type of new ability she got from the experience of being raped."

The woman replied, "Strength. I became so angry at what happened to me. This anger has allowed me to be strong throughout my life."

Before we ended I instructed the woman, "Have an image of yourself as an adult now show up in front of the image of that girl. Explain to her who you are, so that she knows what kind of person she will grow up to be. Tell her about yourself and welcome her into your life."

The woman said, "She understands. She's starting to feel safe and she is willing to express herself inside of me."

    —--

Articulating something that has been hidden inside of yourself

I was doing energy work with a man who had a bad back injury for several months as a result of a car accident. He tried everything, but nothing seemed to be able to fix the problem in his back. We were doing a Virtual Tour for an unrelated reason.

The man wanted to revisit images of himself and his father. During the Virtual Tour he was able to say, "Dad, I love you." He came out of the Virtual Tour crying and feeling relieved. The next day he called me to say, "I didn't notice it till I got home, but my back pain is now all gone."

This was not the only incident of working with someone having a physical pain that didn't want to go away. The act of articulating a hidden fear or concern, that the person even kept away from their own consciousness, made a physical problem disappear. These other instances occurred before the discovery of the Virtual Tour technique.

    —--

The adopted child.

I was asked to do psychic readings on a child who some new friends of ours had adopted. The couple were visiting the Middle East and they happened to find out about a 3 year old who was left at an orphanage. The minute they saw her they felt they had to adopt her. No one at the orphanage knew anything about her birth-mother, except that she had left the girl at the orphanage, then disappeared.

The new father was very persistent in getting some information about the birth-mother."Why did she leave her child? Who was she?" he kept repeating insistently.

I said to him, "How about I teach you how I do this and you can get your own information?" He was fascinated by this suggestion, so we began.

After he learned how to experience the Peaceful Spot and how to experience images, I had him analyze the image of his adopted child. To give him more practice, I asked him to analyze an image of me. I then said, "Now ask for the child's mother to show up."

He said the words and poof, "I see her! I can't believe I see her! The woman is short, intelligent and defiant. She's staring back at me with her hands on her hips as if she's daring me. She left the child at the orphanage because she felt she could not raise the child herself, but she won't tell me any more information about herself."

The man's tone had changed. He no longer had that frantic need to ask, "Who is the mother? Why did she do it?" He said to me, "How is this possible? I never met the woman, how could I see her without meeting her?"

I replied, "It happens. Sometimes I see images of people I have never met as I'm waking up. Later on I see the same people on the subway or bus."

"Does this mean I have the same special ability as you?" he asked.

I explained, "Actually, everyone has the ability to do this, it's just a matter of opportunity and circumstances. Your seeing of the child's mother was a bit usual, but not unexpected. It could be because of how close you are to that woman's child, or it could be your drive, or even something in the air. Oh, and one more thing," I added.

"What's that?" he asked.

"The moment you became aware of the child's mother, she became aware of you. It's a two-way system, it doesn't work just for one person."

    —--

Using the Imaging System in daily life.

Sometimes when I leave my house, I look back at it holographically as I walk down the street. I look at each room to see if I forgot something. (And sometimes I did, and I had to go back for it.)

Any place I visited during the day, I can choose to take another look at it holographically later on, and get new sensations. I live in an area with a lot of churches and I have visited many of them. As I have an image of each show up later, each image brings different feelings in my body of how much spiritual inspiration I experienced when I was there.

After I have given a workshop, I can have an image of that workshop show up again and view how I handled myself. Often I notice things that I did not notice while engaged in the presentations. I always make it a point to look for good things.

Often I overhear people complain how badly they handled a situation. The Imaging System allows you to see what you did well, and that's always worth seeing.

These are just a few of the many possibilities for how you can use the Imaging System to enhance your daily life.

When you are teaching these techniques to another person

The Peaceful Spot, the Imaging System and now the Virtual Tour all have the same thing in common. Experience with the chi-energy is the teacher. What you offer is sophistication in how to use these tools of perception. It could be said that the more life experiences you have, the better you can advise someone else in how to utilize a holographic experience.

Your role as an assistant is very important because the other person can get caught up in what is happening and sometimes they need someone else to ask, "What's going on with you? What are your experiences right now? What decisions are you making and why?"

    —--

Facial changes as clues of what to ask the person going through a Virtual Tour.

If a person is having a good experience, their face will relax and maybe glow with happiness. Your job is to notice the changes in their face and ask, "What so good about what you are experiencing?" or "What do you like about what's happening?" You do this to have the person articulate their own experience and as a way to deepen a good quality of experience.

If a person sees an image of someone or has some feeling they like, your task is to say, "Ask that feeling to enter your body." After this, instruct the person to find the same feeling in their own body, and where in their body it is located. This is a fundamental law of energy dynamics. Good feelings or bad feelings have a location somewhere in the body. This teaches a person to view problems as something you can manage and how to find and use good feelings as a way to strengthen oneself.

Have the person open their eyes and feel this sensation they found while looking around. Here the lesson is, if you feel good inside the outside world will look good to you.

Also ask, "How do you see yourself differently? How do you see me differently?" Here the lesson is, how you feel about yourself is based upon what feeling you are aware of in your body.

Then ask the person to have the sensation move to different parts of their body. This is an important paradigm. It teaches the person that chi-energy creates feelings in the body and how that energy responds to you by the very act of moving when you ask it to.

The ability to have the energy move is vital to have people understand that they are dealing with energy, not physical matter.

    —–

Using deduction to deepen understanding of how chi-energy works.

It is important to come to recognize that what we feel in our body changes our perception of ourselves and of others. Internal feeling do change visual perceptions.

It's not enough just to experience this. One part of your brain allows you to have energy experience but it takes another part of the brain to recognize the value of what happens. This part of the brain takes its cues from you, from how you articulate your experience.

You start by experiencing sensations inside of your body with your eyes closed. When you locate where in your body the sensation is, then open your eyes. When your eyes are open, notice the changes in how you view the world around you. Also bring different sensations into your body, and watch how they cause changes in your visual perception.

This may be difficult at first because it is a new concept. Usually we just feel something and it does not occur to us that this same feeling also affects our visual perceptions.

    —–

Noticing changes in voice qualities.

People who study conflict have discovered that often we do not get upset at people because of what they say. We get upset by the tone of their voice. During these experience you may notice changes in the voice of the person. Again when you notice a change, ask about it.

You can say, "Did you notice that your voice became stronger? Did you notice that your voice become weaker? Where is your voice coming from, which part of your body?"

    —–

Your experience and the experience of the person you are assisting

Sometimes when you are assisting another person, you will be so inundated with sensation that you will feel your point of view is correct and you might be surprised that the other person does not share your views at that moment.

It is important that you support and encourage the other person to have their own views of the experience, no matter what you notice. Your comments about what you observe should be no more than points of view that you can share. Always be open to discovering how the other person experiences what they are going through.

    —–

Becoming aware of both your internal and external experiences

Your consciousness always has three options: You can be aware only of your immediate environment outside of you. You can be self-involved and be aware only of yourself. Or you can be aware of both your outside and your inside at the same time. one of your jobs as a teacher is to help the other person experience these three options.

One way to do this have them disconnect from their Virtual Tour for a moment and instead ask them to be aware of the people in the room. We refer to this as, "Jump out of your body." This allows you to sense the vibrations of the people in the room and what they are experiencing inside of themselves."

Then ask the person to bring their focus back to their internal Virtual Tour. When they return to the internal experience, they will feel like they are reentering their body again.

Having them jump in and out in this way will help them be more aware of how the holographic experience works, and their options for using it.

    —–

Articulating your experience

It is important that the person who is experiencing the Virtual Tour verbally describe their experience. Also mention, "Are you aware that when you verbally describe the experience, it becomes stronger?"

There are many reasons for talking about what you experience, but the most important is that in the beginning people will say, "I'm having these amazing experiences, but I don't know how to describe them."

I always tell them, "Use words in the dictionary."

It is a misconception that chi-energy experiences cannot be articulated. I always ask the people I do energy work with to describe what they are experiencing and they are able to do so. This shows that you can describe your experience, no matter how unusual it may seem at the moment.

Free, for paralyzed individuals.

Learn how to tap into your brain and experience holographic memory that you can walk through. Expand the potential of your mind while your body is healing. Ideal for those who are chi-energy sensitive or wish to be. At your location, must be transit accessible from Boston, MA.

    —–

A Virtual Tour in a hologram

Once you are able to have images show up in your mind on demand, you can take the next step — have an image show up that you walk into as if it were a three-dimensional image. This image will feel and look like a hologram.

Holographic tours are not that new if you do meditation, have dreams where you are aware of dreaming, or do shamanism where you experience different states or reality in an altered state of consciousness.

"Virtual tours" are now quite common on the internet (but not as an altered state of consciousness). The internet pictures of a house for sale, of a resort, or some other location are arrayed so that you can look around at that place from all directions. This same kind of Virtual Tour is now possible inside your own mind once the Imaging System is activated in your brain.

This holographic Virtual Tour inside your mind feels like you are a spirit walking through a space filled with images.

    —–

Discovering how the brain can create a hologram

I first discovered a way of creating a hologram inside my brain as I was trying to understand how images work. By now I was familiar with the experience of an image of a person, but I was curious about how images of buildings and streets were different than just having an image in your brain.

I experimented using words. When I articulated people's names or names of objects the images showed up in my mind. However when I said, "House," the image that showed up felt like it was outside my body and it felt like I was inside the image.

The image that showed up not only included my house but also the street it was on and even the image of myself where I stood in front of the house. After repeating these techniques for several weeks the only conclusion that I could make was that the reason so much information showed up in this image is because not only do you see your house daily, but you experience it on a hearing level, your sense of smell picks up sensation, your muscles and skin feel the movement of the area.

The more I explored the differences in different kinds of images, the more curiosity I felt about them. I would ask for images of the different rooms in our apartment. As I looked around those images I started noticing things that I would normally not notice if I was in the room physically, looking at the same areas with my physical eyes. This also caught my interest.

So here was another technique that allowed individuals to look at their life and see good things that they normally would not notice. The good things were observable in the holographic experience but were not noticed by you with your physical eyes.

When I or my friend tried this technique, not only were we able to notice new things inour living environment, but we also saw good qualities in our partners or roommates who lived with us. If this worked with an image of our home could this also work with colleagues at our place of employment, or in other areas where people socialized?

So we tried this with other environments, and the answer was yes, we could not only see better qualities of others, but we could also get insights about how we behaved around other people. Here was a chance to review your life as if looking at it from the outside.

    —–

Convincing others to look around

Getting people to have a holographic experience is relatively easy. Getting them to be willing to view it as a holograph where they can walk through a scene and notice various things was a bit difficult at first, but the more experience I had with this phenomenon, the easier it became to assist someone else with the experience.

What made this work so well was the fact that the person's energy assists you while you are having a holographic experience. While you can have a holographic experience on your own, it works much better if another person assists you. The assistance is best done by people who know how to direct their energy so that they increase the strength of your own energy field. The stronger the energy field, the greater your awareness of your body and the energy flows that affect it.

    —–

The holographic experience is also a cool thing to be able to do

There have been many times I would just relax in my comfort chair and just check out the place where I was working. I would see the condition that made me comfortable. This is very important as it can give you positive reinforcement of the benefits your job gives you.

The missing puzzle piece

My girlfriend and I were doing a jigsaw puzzle. As we looked at the picture that we were finishing, we noticed that one piece was missing. When you do puzzles, pieces fall to the floor. We checked the floor, the various boxes we were using and still no sight of the missing piece.

When my girlfriend said, "I wonder where the missing piece is?" I felt my hands move as if on their own. As I sat there like a spectator, I watched as my palms moved smoothly over the puzzle, feeling for a missing piece underneath. Nothing like this had ever happened to me before. I had no idea why I would think that there was a piece underneath the surface of the puzzle.

As my hand moved around, I suddenly felt something that I knew by feel was the missing piece. Instead of lifting the surface of the area we had put together I sat back and looked at the puzzle surface. There was no bump, no hint that anything was underneath. Even when I looked at the area where I now knew there was the missing piece, there was no clue, no raised area to indicate that I should feel the surface and find something underneath.

I lifted the surface, took out the missing piece and inserted it into the puzzle to finish it. Then I sat back considering how we all have this type of instinctive intelligence. The only clue I had to activate it was my girlfriend asking a question — "Where is the missing piece?" I knew from personal experience that the whole phenomenon of intuition is activated by asking a question.

    —–

Missing Objects

After I experienced finding the missing puzzle piece, I started contemplating how something will cause our hands or other body parts to move independently of our intentions.

Once I was looking for my house keys. I had them in my hand, but something distracted me and I could no longer find them. I looked at every area where I thought the keys would be and still nothing.

In frustration, as I was standing in the kitchen I said out loud. "I wonder where the keys are?" As soon as I started saying these words, my head turned and I found myself staring into one area of the kitchen. I walked over to that spot and behind a kitchen utensil were the missing keys. There was no reason I could state why my head turned on its own to look at that spot. Here was another instance of an instinctive intelligence being activated. There was no reason I could state why my head turned on its own to look at that spot. Here was another instance of an instinctive intelligence being activated.

    —–

Saying yes but shaking your head no

There are some things that can be irritating. For example, one of my friends always noticed when you said Yes and your head shook No. She would always point out that your mind said one thing and your body said another.

Instead of wondering who is right — your mind or the movement of your body which is activated by your subconscious — it is worthwhile to consider that when you say one thing and your head is moving up and down or sideways saying another, that you should consider both sides of the issue.

    —–

When the hand points toward the body

As a clairvoyant, I'm very sensitive to energy shifts in people's bodies. I noticed that when a person said something like, "I feel sad," often their hand would point to an area of their body. That area would also be the spot where I would notice an energy shift. If a person said, "sad" I would see a gray energy in that part of their body. If they were talking about "frustration" the energy would be reddish in color. And if they said "tension" the area had a unique form of dark energy.

When people say "I had an insight," they either point to the middle of their forehead or toward one of their temples. If they talk about headaches or mental discomfort, their hand points toward different parts of their head.

Individuals who speak about finding a quiet space in their body often point toward their lower abdomen.

    —–

Seeing in the dark

I was on my way home. It was pitch dark outside. I could not see the sidewalk as the section of the street where I was walking was not lit by a street lamp. For no reason I could explain, my body moved downward and I scooped up some papers with my right hand. Even as I walked toward a lit section of the street I could tell that what I felt in my hand was money, I just didn't know how much. It was only two dollars, but it was worth more than that in experience.

Because of its randomness, it's hard to figure out how this works, but I feel it's worth mentioning as it opens the doorway to dialogue about such subject matters.

The three year old

I asked for an image of when I was three years old. I saw an image of the house I lived in and the image of my three year old, floating in the air, with his head lowered in sadness.

It took several weeks of asking the image of my three-year old to turn around, raise his head and look up toward a new positive future. I put several more weeks into this technique, with me occasionally asking for an image of my three year old to show up. This was to make sure that the changed image took hold and did not revert back. When I was satisfied that this worked I left the image alone.

Months later it occurred to me to check on the image again. When I asked for it to show up I was surprised that not only was my three year old floating in the air looking into a positive future but there was a glow around the child's eyes as if the three year old was seeing something I could not. Since I had never given instructions for the energy of the child's eyes change, I concluded that the image had evolved on its own.

    —–

The seven year old

When the image of my seven year old showed up, I was surprised at how rebellious and indifferent were the vibes coming out of him. After several weeks I was able to stop the seven-year old image from vibrating rebellion and indifference. I was able to explain to him who I was and how important education was to me, the grownup version.

It may seem kind of strange that you talk to an image in your head, but consider how normal talking to oneself is. You talk to yourself to remember a task, to change your views, to talk yourself into doing things or not doing things. Talking to oneself or having inner dialogue are quite common human experiences. This is just another variation of the same activity.

After several weeks of interacting with my seven year old, the image changed. He was still not as friendly as I wanted, but no longer as indifferent or defiant. When I visited my seven year old several months later, I was shocked by how he vibrated liveliness and an interest in education. Again once the image was convinced to start changing, it then happen to evolve on its own.

    —–

What are the implications of images of childhood evolving and developing independent qualities?

We practice a task over and over again and the brain creates its own pathways and language to make the task effortless. One can say that the brain knows how to evolve on its own to meet the challenge.

It seems that the subconscious, just like the brain, can do the same thing for us with images. Once we change how we view some traumatic "frozen" image of our childhood and ask it to change that particular information about ourselves at that age can then be evolved to the type of person we would have become had this correction was done through intervention.

The independent evolution of an image seems like an internal correction.

    —–

A young man looking for a job

During one of my gigs doing five minute psychic readings at a local New Age bookstore, a young man asked for a reading. He said he was unemployed, and looking for a job. A vision showed up that he would be employed but it was not a clear image. The young man wanted reassurance so I used the Peaceful Spot and the Imaging System techniques with him.

As he sat across from me I said, "Have an image of yourself show up. Ask the image to change to how it will vibrate when you get a job."

He replied, "It's vibrating differently."

I added further instructions, "Ask the image how long before you get a job."

"About a month from now," the young man replied.

Next I instructed him to have the new image enter his body. When it did he said, "I feel incredibly happy, as if I found a place where I belong." When I asked what kind of a job he had, he could not say, but he left uplifted because of how good he felt having this new opportunity.

I never found out if this came true, and that's fine. The importance of this technique is to give a person some sense of a positive future happening. We were both lucky, he because of his image that something good was going to show up, and me because of the optimistic view created by this technique.

    —–

The man who could not see images

The following report came from a man who at first could not see images:

I didn't expect to see anything when I experienced the Peaceful Spot, but I like the Peaceful Spot. There was something underneath it that seemed to go downwards like a pathway.

The first image that showed up was a painting. I never saw this painting anywhere before. The painting has an image of a young man, someone sitting in a garden with some expensive Renaissance-type clothing on.

When I was at work, some people went by. I wasn't paying attention to who they were, but I wanted to know who just walked by so I said, "Play it again," and I saw the people walking by as if I was looking at a movie clip.

    —–

Using the Imaging System in everyday life

While some of the examples here may sound amazing, by practicing daily usage of the Imaging System, you can use it to solve everyday problems.

For example, you can ask: "Show me an image of my car, where I put my car keys, where did I leave my ipod, etc." Practicing to use the Imaging System will also give you incredible speed in getting images.

    —–

Working the images on their own terms

The ability to work with images is dependent on understanding how they work for you personally. When you try to control the process, then the whole thing falls apart.

Your job is to ask, experience, and come to your own conclusions, just like reading a book.

    —–

The Imaging System and Shaking and Tremors

Once I was working with a man who has shaking problems. I instructed him to call up an image of a person he admired. When the image showed up, I instructed the man, "Sense where the special quality that you admire exists in this image — Head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvic area?"

The man replied, "In the abdomen. There is a glow there."

Then I instructed him to have the image of the person he admired come into his own body. When the man verified that he felt the image of the other person in his body, the next question was, "Do you feel the same glow in your own body?"

The man said, "Yes I do."

I then instructed him to allow the glow to move to different parts of his body. After he did this I instructed him to have more images of people he admired show up and we explored what made each one of those people special.

The reason for this exercise — Shakes are often caused by uncertainty and a feeling that you have lost the ability to be in control of your life. Exploring what makes others strong allows the person to understand how strength exists, and how it is different from person to person. Some people have good qualities in their heads, some in their throats, some in their chest, some in their backs, some in their pelvic area.

Once you experience how healthy vibrational qualities are created energetically in others, then you have the option to allow similar qualities to exist inside of yourself. This technique teaches you that not only can you experience different energetic states, but that you can move them to different parts of your body. These techniques are presented as a way to rebuild yourself.

To be able to teach this technique takes a lot of practice

Unlike the Peaceful Spot, which you can learn in one day and turn around and can teach, working with the Imaging System is a bit more complex. Teaching a person how to experience images is the easy part, but unexpected things occur when you take the images into deeper levels of experience.

Your job is to learn to work the image. The image won't tell you what you can do with it, experience does. It is this experience, how to work the images, that you provide when assisting another person.

The idea that you can interact with images is so new to most people that in order for you to help another person use the images, you have to ask the questions for them so that they get used to how this works. This means you have to develop a good sense of how to direct the questions that you ask.

    —–

People who can see images and those who can't

When presenting how the Imaging System works, you may have a harder time with people who already have easy access to images. The person who does not have this ability or has limited ability to see images in their brain may appreciate it more when they have instant access to images.

Individuals who already have the talent to see images easily may have a hard time understanding why you need to relate to your images differently. If the images come too easily, they may be reluctant to explore this ability further.

    —–

Working the Images - when the person you are assisting freezes

When a person freezes during this exercise and is unable to see an image of themselves you have to develop other methods to activate their Imaging System.

For example:
When someone freezes when trying to see an image of themselves,

Ask them to see an image of someone else.

Have them describe the other person

Then have them ask that image to switch to their own image.

It is here where your experience comes in handy. If the person you are working with is named Barb say, "Look at the image of a person you admire. Now ask the image to switch to Barb." When you use Barb's name, the switch is easy because our subconscious sees only one image of a name.

    —–

Working the Images - seeing a future self

When you are assisting a person to experience an image of themselves in the near future

Have them say, "Show me an image of Barb and what she looks like a month from now."

State qualities for the image, "Show me Barb with new abilities."

When that image shows up you, then ask the person, "What do you like about her?"

Then ask, "What's different about her than the way you are now?"

After the person has analyzed the vibrations of her future image, then say to her, "Ask the image to enter your body."

Then remind the person to feel each part of their body. "How do you feel in your head, your neck, your chest, your abdomen, pelvis, arms and legs?"

    —–

Switching Emotions

As you learn to bring different images into your body, at some point you come to realize that you are learning how to switch emotions.

Here is another method through which you can show people how they can switch emotions. To do this you should learn how to transmit energy out of the palms of your hand and fingertips. By placing your hand in front of you, your fingers pointing in the direction of the other person's chest, send some chi-energy out of your hand into the person’s chest and ask the person to say, "Happy!"

If this works, the person will experience happiness in one part or throughout their body. Now ask the person to snap their fingers and say, "Turn it off. Turn off the happy." If this works, the happy feeling in the other person will disappear as if a switch was thrown. Do this several times till the person feels comfortable that they can switch this feeling on and off.

While this does not cover the full range of human emotions it does introduce the person to the idea that emotions can be changed relatively easily.

    —–

Viewing yourself at different ages

To have an image of yourself at different ages show up is relatively easy once the person has been able to have an image of themselves show up. When the image shows up they have to be assisted in sensing and describing what kind of a person they were at that age. You can also ask the image of the child to entering the person's physical body, so that they can experience what it felt like to be that age on a body-sensation level.

For some people, while an image of a child may show up, they might not want to accept what they see as being them. People often say, "I just don't remember what I was like." In this situation just have them explore the image of the child by asking them, "What is this child like? What do you like about them?"

Chi-Kung teachers often recommend visualizing yourself at year six or seven for creating optimal health inside your body. It is recommended that you look at these ages and also at ages three or four.

    —–

The inability to see an image of a younger self

There are several ways to go around this. One option is to have an image of the person's siblings, parent or other relatives show up. When the image of the relative shows up then say to the person, "Take a look at the image of this relative. Do they like you at this age? What do they like about you?" Always look for positive, life-affirming information.

Or ask the person to have an image of a mirror show up in their brain. Then say, "Take a look in the mirror and tell me what you see." Again, always insist that the person see something of value about themselves.

Another method is to ask for an image of someone who the person does not know to show up. They can even have an image of you the assistant, show up. The value of having an unknown person show up is that there is no preconception of who they are, so the information is easier to get. Again you ask the person, "What does this unknown person like about you at that age?"

One of the most important techniques to use when a person has a lot of trouble with any of these techniques is to have them say, "Show me a glimpse of who Barb was at age 5." For some reason the word glimpse removes unconscious resistance and allows the information to show up.

    —–

I already know that

If you are working with the Imaging System, when an image shows up and the thought comes to you that, "I already know this about myself," then you are missing an opportunity to go deeper to learn more about energy and to learn more about yourself. It's important that each image which shows up be treated as a gift that you can learn from.

If you treat each image as if it is your first experience, then you realize that each time an image shows up you are looking at a substance. Your recognition of this substance creates an intuitive connection which allows you to communicate. You may say that the image gives you the ability to communicate with your subconscious.

Some people cannot get past the, "I already know this." The best that you can do is to encourage them to take a second or third look at the image to see if they can notice something that they might not know about themselves.

This is an educational program, which means that whatever you learn, you can turn around and teach it to others.

The actual teaching of how to transmit the Peaceful Signal is covered in the training. Everyone in the group will get the chance to experience how this works from both sides, receiving and transmitting. After each person learns how to do this exercise, your role will change from teaching to support. You can enhance the value of how well you can do this by understanding some rules of energy dynamics and the kind of difficulties you will encounter as you seek to make this ability stick for the other person.

    —–

Basic Principles of Energy Dynamics

When two or more people pay attention to you, some of their energy is in your energy field. Just like any math equation, when two fields exist in the same space, the strength of the field in that area increases proportionally.

When you increase a person's energy field you also increase their ability to feel things in and around their body.

The energy that leaves your body does not respond to will power or concentration. It is activated by curiosity.

The easiest way to bring back most of your energy into your body is to lower your eyes as if you are looking at your own chest.

When anyone in the room knows how to do an energy task, this information is transmitted into the entire room, making it incredibly easy for others in the room to reduplicate that task.

The ability to have a new chi-energy experience is just to show you what is possible. For you to actually master it requires repetition (practice).

Activating your awareness of energy is the same as activating your intuition.

    —–

Can anyone learn to have this peaceful experience?

You cannot force a person to experience this peaceful state. Your job is to provide the environment to make this possible. Even if you feel that the Peaceful Spot is activated in another person, it's not your call to insist that it's there. The person who is exploring the area of their brain with their consciousness must be willing to have the experience.

Just like you can ignore ambient noise or ignore what you don't want to see, we have the option to ignore what we don't want to experience. It may not make a lot of sense that someone will not want to have this experience, but consider the dilemma some people have. If they open up to this possibility, it can open them up to all kinds of sensitivity which they might not be able to handle. Some people sense this possibility and they have a right to decline exposure to more sensations and stimulations.

While most people experience the Peaceful Spot, some have said that they only feel an "empty space." An empty space also has a desirable effect, because it has no stimulation, it's like a timeout from stimulation. When a person tells you that they experience an empty space, ask them to give you the dimension of the area. Also ask them how far do they have to move away inside their brain from that empty space before they are not able to feel it.

    —–

Living in the Now, the lesson that never ends

To be not only a good teacher but a great teacher of energy you have to learn the trick of understanding Sequencing and treating each experience as if it's totally brand new. You learn to compare how the current experience of what you are doing is the same as before, how it is different, and how much it has changed since the first time you experienced this particular action. To fully appreciate where you are now, it's important for comparison to know where you came from.

    —–

Sequencing

There is a condition that is described as "being frozen" in a memory. We see just one picture from a trauma. To fully understand how to help someone who is frozen in one image practice breaking up all tasks into a sequence of actions. When teaching someone how to experience these techniques it's vital to see the whole thing as a series of steps.

Here is an example of an action:

"I assisted a person in having an internal experience of the Peaceful Spot."

Here is an example of sequencing:

I became aware of my physical body.

My focus changed to be aware of the person I was assisting.

I moved my focus into the center of my own brain.

I caused an activation of the Peaceful Spot in my own brain.

I physically looked at the other person.

I became aware of the center of their brain.

I transmitted the peaceful signal to the other person.

I proceeded to give the other person directions about how to have their own peaceful experience.

At first you may have to pay attention to each step but once you learn how to do it there is an even flow to it. Just like learning to shoot hoops, or play the piano, it takes practice and repetition, but after a while your success in scoring is effortless.

    —–

Why you have to practice

In an interesting program on an NPR radio station, a man who used to be blind was given an operation that restored his eyesight. The man said, "When I first started to see I couldn't tell the difference between one face and another. Every person's face looked the same. Over time my brain figured out how to develop its own language and I started to see facial differences."

This was an important statement because it emphasized that we need to allow the brain to develop its own language for doing a task. Just because we are able to do something when shown, that does not mean that our body and brain have learned how to do it instinctively. Both mental and physical repetition allows the brain to develop its own method so that eventually it becomes instinctive. After your brain learns them, the action takes place without effort.

    —–

A good teacher knows how to be a good student

My goal in developing these techniques was to provide a paradigm of equality.

In this system, the person who teaches also allows the other person to transmit a signal back to the teacher. In other words, the roles are reversed, and the teacher becomes the student. When another person's energy enhances your own energy, it allows you to turn your attention inwards. This helps you study not only your own physiology on a feeling level, but it also allows you to sensitize yourself to your own chi-flow so you can learn how you can influence its behavior.

If you understand how images work you can use this understanding to redefine your view of yourself.

It does not matter if you have easy access to images in your brain, or if you are unable to have images show up. Once you know how this works, just like any tool, you will be able to use it.

    —–

Discovering the Imaging System

I discovered the Imaging System because of a learning disability. I went through the first year of college with a 4.0 grade point average. The problem was, I could not understand anything they were teaching me. I was able to memorize a lot of information and then during the tests I figured out the questions so I could give an appropriate answer. It would have been great if I actually remembered all I memorized, but a few weeks later I would forget everything I had learned. This caused me an undue amount of difficulty as learning, no matter how many hours I put into it, did not get me the results I wanted.

During my years as a psychic reader I finally realized what my problem was. When I did a psychic reading, a client would ask me a question and an image would show up in my mind. In school I memorized only words but no pictures showed up.

When I finally realized that the images I was seeing during psychic readings were created in my brain, the conclusion was simple — There has to be an Imaging System in our mind-body system that creates these images. Today, now that I have a better understanding how this Imaging System works, studying is no longer a chore for me and learning has become much easier. I can call up images which stop the words from floating around in my brain. Now there is order to what it is I am learning.

    —–

A psychic's relationship to images

As a psychic I developed a different relationship with images than one typically learns. A client would ask me a question, an image would show up in my brain and by interpreting the image I was able to give the client very intimate and detailed information about new possibilities in their life. If I wanted more information, I would address the image as if I were talking to another person, and the image would change.

    —–

Visualization vs The Imaging System

The images which appear in your mind when you connect to the Imaging System are not the same thing as the process of "visualization". In visualization, you feel that you are consciously creating images and you are in total control.

Using the Imaging System is a different kind of experience. You do not consciously create an image. Instead, you ask for a specific image to show up (of any object or a person). Once you feel you are satisfied that this is the correct image, then start asking it questions, or analyze its qualities.

    —–

Images as Vibrational Information

Often images that show up in your mind through the Imaging System have vibrational feelings that show up along with the image. These can be very traumatizing if your image is a memory of something unpleasant. But by knowing that you have choices in how to deal with images and feelings that show up, that will make you feel that you are in the driver's seat. You start viewing images as information to be used or molded for your own needs. One way to mold the vibration of the image is by asking it to change the way it is vibrating.

    —–

These image are chi-energy

The more I studied the images that showed up in my own brain through the Imaging System, the more it became apparent that these images were made out of a substance, and that substance is chi-energy.

Since the image is a substance made out of chi-energy, it can actually enter the physical body of the person who sees it. Once you ask the image to enter the body you start feeling its effects in different parts of your body — in your head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvic, arms and legs. These sensations are also potential feelings that you can foster in yourself and they also give you insights about who you can become.

    —–

Images as problem solvers

When you ask, "Show me an image of my good qualities, or of the kind of person I can become by the end of this month," you will always get a clear image to show up. And the amazing part is, after the month goes by, you will feel yourself become that person who appeared in your image.

When you ask an image of yourself to show up and it does, you can then feel vibrations the image gives off and analyze yourself as if looking at yourself from a distance. You can also tweak the image. By that I mean that if there is an area that you don't like, you can ask the image to change shape in that area, and then bring that new experience into your body.

You can also change an image of yourself at different ages. If you request, you can have an image of yourself show up when you were a specific age. This allows you to take another look at the kind of person you were at that age. It can be any age - either as a child, or as an adult. You can even see what you were like in your mother's womb.

You can also ask for this earlier version of yourself to behave differently. For example, if you were shy, you can teach that image of your shy self to feel extroverted. The only trick to this is that you have to practice this for about a month before it takes.

If the current image of yourself is troubled, you can learn to change it and bring it into your body in a different form. However in order to be successful with this, you have to be able to monitor the sensations of this new version of yourself. This is another variation of the looking-in to look-out technique.

    —–

Seeing how good qualities are created in others

Have an image of someone who you admire show up. Analyze the image in your mind for the qualities you like about them. Then ask the image of the other person to enter your body. The energy of the image of the other person will increase in size and will form in and around your body. Once this has happened you then analyze the sensations all over again.

Why is this exercise so important. When a person has been traumatized, it is difficult for them to see good qualities in themselves. By doing this exercise with other people, you learn how strength and clarity are attained. Then you have the option of allowing yourself to start accepting the special qualities that you always had.

The meditative technique to experience a Peaceful Spot in the brain is very simple, but it has to be put in perspective.

You could spend your whole life meditating and not experience a Peaceful Spot anywhere in your body. The technique we are presenting can be experienced in less than five minutes, but it took years to discover and refine.

I mention this because appreciation of an experience allows it to be reproduced with ease but taking it for granted will cause you to loose interest in what has been shown to you.

    —–

The purpose of Tension, and how to stay focused while relaxed.

I've often experienced, or heard other energy practitioners describe the following. A tense person shows up, you get them feeling comfortable and their tension disappears. As soon as they stand up to leave, their tension returns. They liked feeling comfortable with themselves, they complained about the discomfort of the tension, yet the tension always comes back. The question is why?

One day, I discovered an answer to this paradox. My energy researcher colleague Linda Clave and I were at the Arnold Arboretum. And as we sat looking at the calming influence of the trees I said to her "What is so appealing about tension?" I asked Linda to insert tension into my energy field. As she proceeded to do this I was casually looking around at my surroundings. The instant I felt tension in my energy field I noticed that my visual acuity increased. Everything became super-sharp, as if I were hunting. When Linda then inserted an easy-going sensation into my energy field, my super-sharp vision became soft and no longer so detailed.

This was the answer. Individuals who need to feel safe want a sharp focus, so that they are more acutely aware of their environment. Their need to be aware of their environment sends a signal to their brain through their eyes to create tension, which increases their ability to see sharply.

Once we understood this, I wanted to find an answer to this dilemma: "How do you give a person strong visual acuity and still allow them to feel comfortable so they stay relaxed?" The experience of feeling the Peaceful Spot in your brain solves this dilemma. As the person feels the Peaceful Spot in their brain, then opens their eyes, they experience an increase in their visual ability. They not only have sharper visual acuity but everything they see becomes more vibrant, but at the same time they continue to feel physically relaxed.

Finally we had a technique that could give a person the ability to feel safe because they have a strong level of alertness, but also allows them to feel peaceful at the same time.

    —–

How does the process of assisting others to experience the Peaceful Spot work?

The first part of the process is verbal instructions. Just like guided meditation where you are instructed in what to do, you will be given step-by-step instructions. You will be asked not to use will power or concentration. An energy phenomenon will not work if you try to control it. A casual attitude is the best mental and emotional state to have to make this work.

The second part of the process is the transmission of the peaceful energy signal from the person assisting you to have the experience. Energy transmission or emoting is the feeling that you feel coming from another person when you first meet someone. The person assisting you can transmit that peaceful signal so that when your consciousness enters the center of the brain you will be able to locate the sensation of a peaceful place.

The process of transmission of energy or energy signals falls apart if the person receiving the energy or energy signal refuses to cooperate. The nature of energy is that when two people work on the same topic, both people wind up energetically stronger. Once you know how to find the peaceful place you can do it on your own.

    —–

Assisting others in a group environment

One important energy phenomenon is energy buildup through group energy. When you go to a workshop on personal development, all the energy of the other people in the room make it easier for you to feel and be aware of your own intuitive abilities. Group energy can be noticed in sports arenas, in the theater, religious services, and in any activity where people with similar views get together.

While assisting someone to experience the Peaceful Spot one-on-one has its merit, the best results for beginners can occur in a supportive group environment.

    —–

Looking in to look out.

Once you experience the Peaceful Spot you will get a second set of instructions. These are to explore the limits of the Peaceful Spot and to learn how to do a dual action — to feel something inside of yourself while looking outside of yourself.

First you will be asked, "How far do you have to move away in the brain before you no longer feel the Peaceful Spot — a quarter of an inch, half an inch, one inch or more?" This question help you become more aware of your experience of the Peaceful Spot. As you move away from the Peaceful Spot and can no longer feel it, you have to come to a conclusion to fully grasp that conscious connection gives you a feeling of peace and moving away removes the feeling of feeling peaceful.

You will be asked, "As you feel the Peaceful Spot, open your eyes and take a look around the room. What do you notice that is different about the room?" I won't tell you in advance what to expect. you will find out when you try it.

You will be asked, "What do you notice that is now different in how you view yourself?" Again you will discover what happens when you try this.

The ability to feel a quality in your body such as a peaceful vibration and at the same time be able to look around at your environment is referred to as "Looking in to look out."

    —–

Some nice things said about the Peaceful Spot and Looking in to look out.

"I've never been able to look people in the eye, but when I do this I can look them in the eye and it feels comfortable."

"Everything I look at vibrates and seems so much more alive." This is the usual experience.

"I kept seeing colors around people." This is not common but it did happen to one person who attended a workshop.

    —–

Discovering and using the Imaging System in your brain

Once the Peaceful Spot is activated in a person it also activates image memory or what we call the Imaging System. Image memory is the ability to have images show up in your brain.

The loss of imaging can happen to those who have been traumatized. When you get this ability back and the image of your trauma shows up, it can be quite startling. That is why we emphasize that in mastering these techniques, you are learning how to use the Imaging System of your brain so that you can consciously choose to have images show up or disappear.

The goal of this educational program is not only to have you develop the understanding of how you can influence the images in your brain for your own personal development, but also to help you develop the confidence that you can do it.
