The three year old
I asked for an image of when I was three years old. I saw an image of the house I lived in and the image of my three year old, floating in the air, with his head lowered in sadness.
It took several weeks of asking the image of my three-year old to turn around, raise his head and look up toward a new positive future. I put several more weeks into this technique, with me occasionally asking for an image of my three year old to show up. This was to make sure that the changed image took hold and did not revert back. When I was satisfied that this worked I left the image alone.
Months later it occurred to me to check on the image again. When I asked for it to show up I was surprised that not only was my three year old floating in the air looking into a positive future but there was a glow around the child's eyes as if the three year old was seeing something I could not. Since I had never given instructions for the energy of the child's eyes change, I concluded that the image had evolved on its own.

The seven year old
When the image of my seven year old showed up, I was surprised at how rebellious and indifferent were the vibes coming out of him. After several weeks I was able to stop the seven-year old image from vibrating rebellion and indifference. I was able to explain to him who I was and how important education was to me, the grownup version.
It may seem kind of strange that you talk to an image in your head, but consider how normal talking to oneself is. You talk to yourself to remember a task, to change your views, to talk yourself into doing things or not doing things. Talking to oneself or having inner dialogue are quite common human experiences. This is just another variation of the same activity.
After several weeks of interacting with my seven year old, the image changed. He was still not as friendly as I wanted, but no longer as indifferent or defiant. When I visited my seven year old several months later, I was shocked by how he vibrated liveliness and an interest in education. Again once the image was convinced to start changing, it then happen to evolve on its own.

What are the implications of images of childhood evolving and developing independent qualities?
We practice a task over and over again and the brain creates its own pathways and language to make the task effortless. One can say that the brain knows how to evolve on its own to meet the challenge.
It seems that the subconscious, just like the brain, can do the same thing for us with images. Once we change how we view some traumatic "frozen" image of our childhood and ask it to change that particular information about ourselves at that age can then be evolved to the type of person we would have become had this correction was done through intervention.
The independent evolution of an image seems like an internal correction.

A young man looking for a job
During one of my gigs doing five minute psychic readings at a local New Age bookstore, a young man asked for a reading. He said he was unemployed, and looking for a job. A vision showed up that he would be employed but it was not a clear image. The young man wanted reassurance so I used the Peaceful Spot and the Imaging System techniques with him.
As he sat across from me I said, "Have an image of yourself show up. Ask the image to change to how it will vibrate when you get a job."
He replied, "It's vibrating differently."
I added further instructions, "Ask the image how long before you get a job."
"About a month from now," the young man replied.
Next I instructed him to have the new image enter his body. When it did he said, "I feel incredibly happy, as if I found a place where I belong." When I asked what kind of a job he had, he could not say, but he left uplifted because of how good he felt having this new opportunity.
I never found out if this came true, and that's fine. The importance of this technique is to give a person some sense of a positive future happening. We were both lucky, he because of his image that something good was going to show up, and me because of the optimistic view created by this technique.

The man who could not see images
The following report came from a man who at first could not see images:
I didn't expect to see anything when I experienced the Peaceful Spot, but I like the Peaceful Spot. There was something underneath it that seemed to go downwards like a pathway.
The first image that showed up was a painting. I never saw this painting anywhere before. The painting has an image of a young man, someone sitting in a garden with some expensive Renaissance-type clothing on.
When I was at work, some people went by. I wasn't paying attention to who they were, but I wanted to know who just walked by so I said, "Play it again," and I saw the people walking by as if I was looking at a movie clip.

Using the Imaging System in everyday life
While some of the examples here may sound amazing, by practicing daily usage of the Imaging System, you can use it to solve everyday problems.
For example, you can ask: "Show me an image of my car, where I put my car keys, where did I leave my ipod, etc." Practicing to use the Imaging System will also give you incredible speed in getting images.

Working the images on their own terms
The ability to work with images is dependent on understanding how they work for you personally. When you try to control the process, then the whole thing falls apart.
Your job is to ask, experience, and come to your own conclusions, just like reading a book.

The Imaging System and Shaking and Tremors
Once I was working with a man who has shaking problems. I instructed him to call up an image of a person he admired. When the image showed up, I instructed the man, "Sense where the special quality that you admire exists in this image — Head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvic area?"
The man replied, "In the abdomen. There is a glow there."
Then I instructed him to have the image of the person he admired come into his own body. When the man verified that he felt the image of the other person in his body, the next question was, "Do you feel the same glow in your own body?"
The man said, "Yes I do."
I then instructed him to allow the glow to move to different parts of his body. After he did this I instructed him to have more images of people he admired show up and we explored what made each one of those people special.
The reason for this exercise — Shakes are often caused by uncertainty and a feeling that you have lost the ability to be in control of your life. Exploring what makes others strong allows the person to understand how strength exists, and how it is different from person to person. Some people have good qualities in their heads, some in their throats, some in their chest, some in their backs, some in their pelvic area.
Once you experience how healthy vibrational qualities are created energetically in others, then you have the option to allow similar qualities to exist inside of yourself. This technique teaches you that not only can you experience different energetic states, but that you can move them to different parts of your body. These techniques are presented as a way to rebuild yourself.
